Description of "per-instance" licensing
An instance is one copy of the WWBN Platform System on one domain or sub-domain web site. Each instance must comply with the WWBN Instance License Agreement terms. In your account you register as many instances as deemed needed, each instance must be registered separately and give a specific sub-domain or domain.
Reasons why a company might want individual instances:
- Targeting Specific Markets
- Providing different distribution options per instance
- Selling different products or providing different services on each instance
- Providing a different instances to departments, subsidiaries, etc.
For example:
- xyzcompany.wwbn.com - (WWBN domain's sub-domain)
- 123comp.wwbn.com - (WWBN domain's sub-domain)
- video.yourdomain.com - (Your domain's sub-domain)
- platform.yourdomain.com - (Your domain's sub-domain)
- yourdomain.com - (Your Domain)
No two instances are the same, they are unique to the instance licensees offerings. Each instance can be customized to the licensees brand, look & feel. Each of these separate instances must comply with the WWBN Instance License Agreement terms.
To request an Instance you can create a register with WWBN and within your account module there will be an option to request a WWBN License Instance.
